Sunday Social 25.8

Sunday Social

1.  What do you miss most about being a kid?
Summers at the pool! Now summer time comes and I’m still in a routine and still in my office....I miss that break of lounging each day in the sun...wearing yourself out and getting a gorgeous tan that I was too young to appreciate!

2.  Did you have a nickname growing up?3
Haha the neighborhood kids always called me Shanaenae!

3.  What was your favorite thing to do at recess?
It’s hard to remember that far back. But I specifically remember always getting in trouble because we’d see how many kids we could cram onto the slide...someone always got hurt!
That and we would sit in the tire swing and spin so fast your shoes would fly off...ooo just the thought of that makes me sick now!

4.  What did you want to be when you grew up?
What year? A doctor, a teacher, a dancer, a singer, an actress, a vet, an astronaut, a truck driver...just about everything at some point!

5.  Did you participate in any school activities?
In elementary school, I danced pom-pom, was a crossing guard, worked in the kindergarten class, and was class president.
In junior high, I was newspaper editor, danced pom-poms, ran track and played volleyball.
In high school, I was on the competitive dance team and played soccer.
Oh and I was in orchestra from the age of 10...I think.

6.  What is the funniest thing you did as a kid that your parents still remind you about?
Mostly getting hurt...all...the...time. It got so bad that at one point the ER called in child services thinking I was being abused. I smiled and happily told the people....I just like jumping out of things! ;-)

There was one time I was in for stitches for my vinger and my dad loves to recall how the 30 year old next to me also getting stitches was screaming and throwing a fit about needles while I calmly told the doctor jokes (like I said....used to the hospital!).
