We can't have a merry heart
all the time, can we? The Bible says "Restore unto me the joy of thy
salvation" which tells me we will have setbacks, disappointments,
stress, discomfort, problems, aches and pains and the list goes on. We
will get distracted and look away from Jesus. The Bible also tells
us that a merry heart does us as much good as medicine. Laughter is
powerful stuff! Today, let's share a few laughs and spread some
merriness! Now Open Wide and Take your Medicine!
*How do you stop a fish from smelling? Cut its nose off.
*Why do gorillas have big nostrils? Because they have big fingers.
*A duck walks into a drugstore and asks for some Chap Stick. The
cashier says "That'll be $1.49". The duck says "Put
it on my bill"! ba-dum-TSH!
*A panda walks into a restaurant and orders a sandwich. He eats, pulls
out a gun and shoots the waiter dead. As the panda gets up to leave,
another waiter shouts "Hey, where you going? You just shot a
waiter and didn't pay for your food." The panda yells "Hey man,
I'm a panda. Look it up". The other waiter opens a
dictionary to panda. "A tree-climbing mammal of Asian origin,
characterized by distinct black and white coloring. Eats shoots and
leaves."
*Squirrels had overrun 3 churches in town. The 1st church prayed
and decided they were predestined to be there. Who were they to question
God's will? The squirrels multiplied. The 2nd church decided they
couldn't hurt God's creatures, trapped them and set them free outside of
town. 3 days later, the squirrels were back. The 3rd church
succeeded in keeping the squirrels away. They baptized the
squirrels, registered them as church members and now they only see them
on Christmas and Easter. (You know it was funny!)
