Blogger Opportunity and a Weekend Recap!

Hello, peeps! The weekends go so fast and it becomes Monday all over again! I hope all of you had a blessed time. It seems like there is never enough hours in the day but we all keep moving forward. Life lately has been no different!

I mentioned that Lil Mister was spending the weekend at Ouma, so Saturday started off quiet. LJ and I took some time and went to town in the morning. That child is eating me out of house and home right now! He ate two bowls of cereal, a mini bag of crackers and a jam sandwich before we left! Then at Hubby’s work he had two, TWO wors pieces! That is like two sticks of bratwurst. He was asleep when we got home but sure enough he ate a pack of ramen noodles when he woke up and another bag of crackers! When Hubby got home at 2, he had a Vienna and a bowl of curry carrots! He still ate dinner that night! I don’t know where he is putting it!

I’ve tried multiple times today to write a post worth anything but nothing is coming to mind. I don’t know why; however I am having a rambling sort of day. So, I thought since I’ve been a little AWOL lately, we could catch up over a cuppa!

Marriage can be a sticky situation some days. Humans are not concrete people. We are fluid. We move with the waters of life. Our marriages are no different. There are highs and lows and each day brings about a new familiarity.

I love this quote “You are not human beings having a spiritual experience; we are spiritual beings having a human experience.”

In essence, we are ruled by emotions (even the men shaking their heads…yes you too!). We often react before asking questions, we judge before knowing facts and we assume way too much. I can honestly say all of these happen within my marriage.
