Turn It Up Tuesday (Weekend Recap)

To be honest, this weekend was....quiet! And photoless L

I was off Friday after having fought a migrane for 5 days. I headed to the doctor for some advice. He first suggested I had bad sleeping posture and needed to move my kids to their own beds! (haha....maybe when Hubby and I are in one house again...>I don’t like being lonely at night!)

Secondly, he suggested I sleep too little, stress too much, drink too much caffeine and need to quit smoking (yes, although I strive to be healthy....smoking is a vice I am battling to let go! But that is for another post). I laughed at him and told him our classic family joke “I drink coffee so I can smoke so I can stress less and go to sleep!” Of course that is just something we always say when challenged about our “unhealthy habits.”

Easter Weekend and some Hubby Time

It was a super long weekend here by us...leading us into a short work week (whoo hoo) and another long weekend and another short work week! LoL So, you can imagine how BUSY we have been!

Priceless Moments

This is going to be short and sweet because well, I still haven't quite found my bearings yet!

But we are doing it! Two days are already over with....and we have not just survived...I think we have excelled! Wednesday morning was hard but by the time I got home I was in full on Mommy mode! We quickly went to grab some necessities at the shop (yogurt, peanuts and two minute noodles!) and headed home for baths.

We bathed for what seemed like forever! They played and splashed and laughed all around. Afterwards they were up and down the house and by 8 pm both kids were asleep! SCORE!

Not Comparing: Spot the Individuality

This post is part of the 2014 Blogger Challenge Week/Day in Pictures ( I choose months meaning that these are pictures of my boys in the same month, two years apart!)

Let's face it...as parents of multiples...we have a tendancy to "compare" the kids. I know it isn't right but we have all done it at some point! Baby 1 crawled at this age while baby 2 only did it at this age.....we've all fallen victim.

Today, I don't want to compare but "spot the individuality" of my two precious boys! They are each their own character (literally if our house was a play....) and deserve to have that recognized and celebrated! I feel so blessed to have these two amazing children and love how different they can be sometimes. They seem to balance each other in some areas and complete contradict in others, but at the end of the day they are who they are and we love them for it!

Weekend Update and Prayer Request

Hi peeps! So our long weekend is over! I spoke last week about how I really needed to use this weekend to try some different parenting approaches and refocus our family. To be honest, it was a 50/50 weekend! I really worked hard with Lil Mister and the toilet. He did ah-mazing until last night. Of course, he had to bring my spirits down by giving me something to clean!

Otherwise....

LJ decided he was cold and spent some time in the warmer! Don't worry it wasn't on!

Catching Up: Life Lately

Hello my peeps! I wanted to take a day to just catch up on everything that has been happening around the OC.

Internet has been giving us some troubles and there was like a week straight where I couldn’t connect at all! And then multiple days where the strength was so low, I could accomplish nothing!

So, I’m positive you are dying to know what in the world we have been up to! It’s been busy and crazy hectic around here! Honestly, it’s like we never sit still! Warning: This IS a photo dump...but it's really good!

Weekend Recap: Rugby Time

Hey peeps! How was your weekend??

Ours was restful for a change! Genuinely.....we truly liked not having a whole lot to do! Normally, weekends are spent going here or there or meeting with these people and those friends and well, I felt completely renewed just having some family time....and a little rugby action! ;-)

I know Friday was Valentines Day but we spent it as a family! It was wonderful and complete with Friday night family bed in the lounge....I think we were all asleep before 9pm! ;-)

Sorry for the bad cell phone quality....but the boys were just so cute here!

Weekend Recap

What were YOU doing this weekend?

Me....

I spent a weekend being Mama and Wifey and you know what? I loved every minute of it!

As with most Saturdays, the boys and I loaded up and headed to town early. We visited Papa, paid some bills and grabbed an ice cream cone!

They were amazingly well behaved and both took turns napping in the pram! We were so hot when we got home that I decided we needed to climb in the pool!
