On The Menu

Hey, peeps! How was your week?

Each Friday I strive to bring you something new from the Organized Chaos kitchen. In addition to that, I'm going to start listing out what we've been eating throughout the week! That way if there was a previous recipe involved...you can check it out! You can always find old meals on the Recipes page!

Last weekend, C and L came to visit us as a spur of the moment decision! I can't even begin to describe how amazing it was to have these two people so close to our hearts in our home! I had missed them so, so much!

Saturday, Hubby decided he would treat us with his amazing bunny chow! It's an Indian Curry based meal that comes mainly out of Durban. I decided while we waited for this, I was going to whip up some guacamole and salsa. I've shared my salsa recipe before so today I bring you the guacamole!

Wordless Wednesday- Weekends with Friends

I had a fabulous weekend as C decided to make a last minute trip to us! It was late when they got in Friday night but of course we had a braai, followed by amazing food and chats on Saturday and a night out as they wanted to treat us! I am so blessed to have her as my best friend and it was so relaxing to feel so at home! From the moment they stopped here, everything just felt normal!

Weekend Recap: Rugby Time

Hey peeps! How was your weekend??

Ours was restful for a change! Genuinely.....we truly liked not having a whole lot to do! Normally, weekends are spent going here or there or meeting with these people and those friends and well, I felt completely renewed just having some family time....and a little rugby action! ;-)

I know Friday was Valentines Day but we spent it as a family! It was wonderful and complete with Friday night family bed in the lounge....I think we were all asleep before 9pm! ;-)
Sorry for the bad cell phone quality....but the boys were just so cute here!

A Scramble of Events....

Hey peeps!

Thanks so much for sticking around! I am so sorry about last week! Not just because you guys missed out on 4 days of awesomness posts....but also because I desperately missed writing! It's so hard when life just seems to become overwhelming!

Weekend Recap

What were YOU doing this weekend?

Me....

I spent a weekend being Mama and Wifey and you know what? I loved every minute of it!

As with most Saturdays, the boys and I loaded up and headed to town early. We visited Papa, paid some bills and grabbed an ice cream cone!
They were amazingly well behaved and both took turns napping in the pram! We were so hot when we got home that I decided we needed to climb in the pool!

Hasie Park

I told you here that I’d post about the ‘Hasie park.’
Hasie is Afrikaans for rabbit.
It is a free park close to where Ma lives.
And boy do they have some rabbits….

But also a lot of other animals!

When Ma told us about it, I couldn’t wait to take Lil Mister! So while there over Easter, we gathered friends and made a trip. It isn’t huge and only took us about an 45 minutes at a very casual stroll to loop the entire park. But we had a blast….and loved everything we saw!

Saturday Nights and Rugby Lights

Hubby Dearest started playing rugby!!

I am super proud of him and of course want to support any decision he makes towards our family living a healthy lifestyle.

But mostly, I love seeing him do something productive that is for himself!!

Naturally, we went as a family to support his first game!
We weren't sure if he'd play the first game but...
HE DID!!
And even better...he scored a try!

WAY TO GO HUBBY DEAREST!!!

Photo Dump!
