I honestly think I've had so much coffee today I'm
like the Energizer Bunny on crack! 

Do you ever have one of those weeks where you’re just like where did it all go? Okay, well that is me this week! Sunday was so kick @$$ and I thought to myself, ‘yes, this week is going to rock!’ and all of the sudden....I wake up and it’s Friday and I’ve accomplished umm...zilch! I mean really, peeps....I don’t know (or even want to know) what has gotten in to me. But it has got to stop!

What You Missed: Randomness and Links

Hi peeps! Another week done and dust, no?

It’s been...quiet! Not on the blog, but in life in general. Slowly, over the last few weeks, we’ve been transitioning back into routine mode. Bedtimes have become more structured, Mama has been getting things done in the evenings, and our social life has been put slightly to the backburner!

Not that I’m complaining. This was, is necessary. This was nice! Saturday, Hubby had gone fishing the morning and afternoon and when he got home, we quickly went to the shop and took LJ to the doctor. While out a close friend asked if we wanted to braai. My gut reaction was NO. We’d been very specific about not wanting to do anything for a few weeks, but this friend is a rustig (calm) friend. Don’t get me wrong...he can enjoy a party! But he knows the deal with kids too.

What You Missed Week 2

Hi peeps! How’s 2014 going so far? Mine....lazy! No seriously though, this coming Wednesday everything goes back to normal! Lil Mister begins school again....so although I’ve had a million things that needed done this past week, I’ve just enjoyed the peace of an empty house. Of course the kids and Hubby are there....but it’s nice just being able to melt back into routine.

Speaking of routine....we are working hard to get that started again! I won’t lie...my laziness isn’t helping (neither is LJ’s teething!) but we’ll get there. Next week....it’s all strict again. Clean kitchen at night, lunches made and bags packed before bed! Lil Mister will begin school now and LJ starts his first day of school ever asof the 3^rd of February!

While I have been away this week....I’ve also been very active! I hope you are enjoying all of the posts up on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram! Otherwise head over there and catch up! Since I’ve been gone and not staying up on what everyone else has been doing....I’m sad to report there will be no favorites this week! I promise to make it up to you next week though! I’ll be back Monday in full swing....or barely surviving being back at work....we’ll just wait and see!

What You Missed W46 and a goodbye! (only for now!)

Another week has passed here at Organized Chaos and well, for everyone at that! Life just keeps trucking on and I’ve had a little bit of mommy sadness as I realized this week how big my boys are getting! LJ turns one in under a month and my Lil Mister is storming head first into his threes! I knew it was coming, but wow....where did the time go!

Tuesday evening at the grocery store we were picking up items for our trip. I decided to grab a few jars of baby food since I’m not sure what Ouma and Oupa have planned for meals. LJ eats basically everything we eat, but better safe than sorry right! Hubby remembered one type that was Lil Misters favorite as a baby and asks why I don’t get it for LJ. I remarked that LJ is still too young for that type. He looked at me and confused said but the food is from 10 months. My eyes widened as I realized we’re already in our 11^th month! I just don’t see where it happened!

The boys are becoming good friends as they play and terrorize our household on a daily basis and the love between them is beautiful! I can’t wait to spend this 10 days with them without interruptions from work! I think we all need it!
